At PIC, we are recruiting for a Reporting and MI Manager to join our Customer Operations function. In this role, you will effectively collaborate with our Risk, Transitions and Finance departments, implement improvements to systems, processes, and technology, and apply knowledge and insights concerning the Customer Operations function and how this impacts our policyholders, delivering strong business outcomes.

Specific accountabilities assigned to the role of Reporting & MI Manager within the Customer Operations:

  • Design, build and evolve Power Bi reports and dashboards for all teams within Pension Services for internal reporting. Understanding the underlying data content and data sources.
  • Design, build and evolve real time KPI reporting and a monthly MI pack, for each Team.
  • Design, build and evolve ExCo, Board and Regulatory Power Bi reporting and dashboards, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure these are produced timely and accurately as required.
  • Responsible for the ongoing improvement of Power Bi reporting, working with the teams to understand requirements, working with numerous data sources and identifying options to future proof reports and dashboards.
  • Translate business needs into reporting and dashboard requirements. Working closely with key stakeholders in the business to understand their reporting requirements.
  • Produce the regular weekly, monthly and more adhoc reporting – accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for providing insight from the data and reporting, interrogating, analysing and providing recommendations for efficiencies and improvements.
  • Drive improvements in reporting process and content, providing suggestions to internal stakeholders.
  • Takes ownership for your own learning and development in both technical (e.g. data analysis and critical judgement) and non-technical (self-insight and relationship management) skills of Customer Operations.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Experience of delivering reporting within the Pensions sector
  • Experience of using Power Bi to build reports and dashboards
  • Experience of using multiple data sources
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service when dealing with external and internal stakeholders

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of reporting and management information within a pension administration area
  • Knowledge of data analysis & data processing
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Familiar with pension buy-ins & buy-outs data (desirable)
