Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Project Manager - Fixed Term Contract About this role We’re looking for a Project Manager with a passion for problem solving to join our Operations Readiness delivery team.   You’ll be responsible for project managing improvements and capabilities to enhance the experience and outcomes for our customers and agents, improve efficiency and reduce our costs. You’ll deliver on a wide range of initiatives, from regulatory or card-scheme driven change, to the implementation of multi-year strategies to evolve how the operation functions. You’ll need to partner across our business from the inception of a new idea, through to in-market delivery.  What you’ll do Create cohesive, motivated delivery teams across multiple functions to deliver effective business results Set up and maintain appropriate governance, be an advocate for quality in how we deliver Anticipate and manage risks and issues and drive solutions to overcome them communicate clearly to a variety of stakeholders and have the confidence to influence leadership  Partner with our Technical Programme Managers to aid accurate definition of intent, delivery approach and milestones, for technology-focused change Work with other key teams to ensure the project requirements accurately reflect the needs of our customers and agents Provide a clear communication and coordination channel between Customer Operations, technology teams and the wider business What we’re looking for Experience delivering projects by utilising appropriate project management frameworks, ideally in a customer service, operational or technical environment, using agile  Results focused; balancing the need for great quality and consistency with maximizing benefits to the business by delivering early and often  Excellent analytical skills, providing structured thinking and a rational and inquisitive approach to solving problems The ability to quickly grow technical and business understanding to help support cross-functional delivery teams A level of emotional intelligence to communicate effectively and overcome obstacles A credible track record of improving the productivity of delivery or teams Where and how you'll work This is a secondment/fixed term contract position for 12 months and will be based in our Nottingham offices. We’ve adopted a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work in your own way, but also provides great spaces for in-person collaboration.   Our core in-the-office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but they aren't mandatory - you’ll be led by your team, the type of work you do and of course your preferences.
