Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Software Developer in Test - Data What you’ll do:  Work as part of a self-organised Data engineering team to deliver creative automated Testing solutions that are delightful and vital to the lives of credit card consumers across all walks of life Work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management and your management chain Define and own the test approach for components in your team, to meet the objectives of Product Management, Risk Mitigation, Quality and Efficiency Innovate within your team, initiative area and contribute within your technical domain. What we’re looking for:  Solid programming skills in your language of choice (not necessarily ours). The primary language of our quality and software engineers in Data​ is Java that’s just a language, knowledge of any OO language will help you  Working collaboratively, able to communicate effectively and commitment to be part of a successful team  Knowledge of Agile practices  A desire to learn new techniques and processes  What you’ll get to learn (any previous experience would be advantageous):  Working within a CICD Test automation environment  Understanding and gain experience working with the cloud/AWS and the opportunities that it brings. Working with data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture  Using Java, Scala, SQL, Python, Rest Assured, Gatling Where and how you’ll work: This is a permanent position and will be based in our Nottingham office. We’ve adopted a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work in your own way, but also provides great spaces for in-person collaboration.   Our core in-the-office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but they aren't mandatory - you’ll be led by your team, the type of work you do and of course your preferences.
