Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Finance Analyst About this role We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to support our busy Finance team. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the UK and US, modelling, scenario planning and sharing those insights and recommendations to the UK Head of Finance across a wide range of topics including capital, revenue, costs, profitability, long term financial planning and Net Present Value (NPV) modelling. You’ll collaborate alongside our data analytics teams to support the delivery of exciting new initiatives within our automation and digitisation agenda. What you’ll do Analyse and forecast business results to identify and realise improvements in financial performance Coordinate analytical projects to help the business from a strategic perspective Support management reporting and other month-end accounting close responsibilities Proactively look for and implement innovations in our business processes such as report automation or data visualisation Produce UK and International reporting for our senior team to support decision making and tell the business story to our US parent We’ll support you to work towards a professional accountancy qualification What we’re looking for You have an educational background/degree from a related discipline, for example within STEM or Finance/Economics and/or work experience in a similar role You’ll have solid analytical and modelling skills and can demonstrate that you understand how to distil the most important points from large amounts of information and present this in a clear and meaningful way to tell the story at a senior level You’re able to build trusted relationships and can influence stakeholders and senior management by presenting compelling cases for trade offs in investment decisions through insightful and well thought out evaluation You enjoy working in collaboration with colleagues across different teams within and outside finance to deliver business outcomes together You have a mindset of continuous improvement and don’t accept things at face value - you like to dig deeper and use your commercial and critical thinking skills to solve business problems Where and how you'll work This is a permanent position and will be based in our Nottingham offices. We’ve adopted a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work in your own way, but also provides great spaces for in-person collaboration.   Our core in-the-office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but they aren't mandatory - you’ll be led by your team, the type of work you do and of course your preferences.
