The work you’ll do with us directly impacts the lives of millions of people, so it's important you’re a relentless advocate for quality. What you’ll do Support the Lead Motion Designer in paving the way with motion graphics and video for Capital One; enhancing our digital presence by using your skillset to create compelling and innovative content that helps shape and grow our brand Work across a constantly evolving range of consumer journeys and experiences, including email comms, social media, web content, digital display and more Work alongside our in-house Studio design team and collaborate with the wider business on creative campaigns - defining, shaping and realising innovative ideas through motion design and video Deliver work that spans all project phases, from concept and design through to production (e.g. sketches, storyboards, styleframes, animatics and production-ready assets) Articulate your design rationale to stakeholders, gaining buy-in by balancing business goals and user needs Learn about our customers and be open to testing and feedback on your concepts. We’re a data driven company, and are always looking for new ways to improve everything we do What we’re looking for A genuine passion for all things animation and video, with a relentless desire to push the boundaries of motion design Excellent colour, typography, storyboarding, visualisation and animation skills combined with a highly organised approach Outstanding editing skills combined with an appreciation of timing, pace and composition An ability to put on your director's cap and find interesting moments and stories in briefs or footage and translate that into a compelling narrative Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present work and interact with colleagues at all levels of the business. Your stakeholders will be numerous and you’ll need to build great working relationships with many different parts of the business Where and how you'll work This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices. We're currently working fully remote until 7th September after which time we're adopting a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work in your own way, but also provides great spaces for in-person collaboration.   Our core in-the-office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but they aren't mandatory - you’ll be led by your team, the type of work you do and of course your preferences.
