Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Head of Internal Communications About this role We’re currently looking for an internal communications specialist to lead our Associate Communications team. In doing so you’ll act as a trusted advisor to our UK CEO and wider leadership team to shape and advise on how their plans can best be communicated to our associates. What you’ll do Develop an internal communications strategy that drives engagement and pride in Capital One’s mission, strategy, brand and culture Manage the internal comms team, supporting them to deliver effective communications and nurturing an environment where they can flourish   Develop and maintain an internal comms annual plan, showcasing a prioritised view of activities to deliver our comms strategy and ensuring all initiatives form part of a joined up narrative  Seek a deep understanding of the associate audience and remain close to how this evolves through a focus on research and data Collaborate closely across the business (including with our colleagues in the US and Canada) to align on the overall communication plan and the efficient delivery of campaigns Manage external suppliers and agencies to support the delivery of campaigns and events to meet our high standards What we’re looking for Significant communications experience with a proven track record of delivering impactful communications that engage and inspire a busy workforce A strong creative thinker and strategic planner with great judgement and meticulous attention to detail A collaborative partner who naturally builds strong networks across all levels of an organisation, and is able to flex their style and influence at the most senior level An agent of change, able to inspire and motivate others  Someone who has a real passion for people, culture and communications - and is always plugged into the latest thinking A supreme organiser with a positive attitude who can manage multiple strategic projects in a fast paced and ever changing environment This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices (currently fully remote until September 2021).  Many of our team have flexible working patterns so we’re open to discuss flexible working arrangements with you.
