Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Data Analyst About the role The Data Analyst team supports a vast array of customers across the UK business. You’ll take data, analyse it and produce great recommendations and solutions that improve our business and our customers' experience. What you’ll do; Extract and mine data to assist in solving business problems Manipulate data to fulfill on a range of requests Use Data Visualisation tools and techniques to best share data with business partners Collaborate with diverse teams, partnering across the organisation to navigate an ambiguous and ever-changing environment What we’re looking for Structured thinking and a rational and inquisitive approach to solving problems using data  A natural affinity with numbers and enthusiasm to use numerical ability to spot trends The ability to learn coding skills (SQL, Python, R,  java) – it doesn’t matter if you currently know some, all, or none of these – we are interested in your capacity to learn and will nurture your development The ability to take your own ideas, articulate them clearly and then develop solutions Where and how you'll work This is a permanent position and is based in Nottingham. We're currently working fully remote until 7th September after which time we're adopting a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work in your own way, but also provides great spaces for in-person collaboration.   Our core in-the-office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but they aren't mandatory - you’ll be led by your team, the type of work you do and of course your preferences.
