Job Title: Sales Planning Manager  

Contract Type: Permanent 

Location: Edinburgh 

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Royal London have exciting new opportunities for Sales Planning Managers to join the team and play a pivotal role in gaining insight into the business and ultimately create their own personal brand to help foster strong stakeholder relationships and drive the distribution team forward.

 

About the role

 

  • Own and drive regular maintenance and content update developments across the Distribution SharePoint sites.
  • Support compliance with group policies across distribution function.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the Distribution function and propositional teams to manage e.g. a structured program of Lunch and Learns, content for quarterly sessions etc. 
  • Co-ordinate the key stakeholders, including relationship managers, compliance, legal and marketing, to ensure our commercial agreements with major intermediary distributors are compliant and deliver value to the business.
  • Support governance of the Distribution Incentive Plan, ensuring records are appropriately maintained and setting up required governance sessions.

 

About you

  • Excellent grasp of complete Microsoft suite and capabilities (inc Excel, Word, PPT, SharePoint, Forms) 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of sales and distribution processes as well as the adviser landscape
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of compliance / regulatory environment
