This is a chance to work on an innovative, intellectually exciting project backed by the influential reach of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support defining the product and commercial strategy across a wide array of digital assets and digital capabilities. The programme is highly interdependent with continuous interaction between Product, Client Engagement, Operations, Technology and Regulation, which means candidates with experience of working on large projects in financial market infrastructure is highly desirable.

In this role, you will work closely with the Product Director, our customers and internal teams communicate the value that digital assets can unlock for existing and future workflows, provide business context to the client requirements, refine functionality, and support the implementation of asset-, chain-, and jurisdiction-agnostic digital asset infrastructure.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support the definition, development and execution of the product roadmap for LSEG's digital asset creation capabilities, prioritising product features across all five Service Lines of the DMI initiative, across issuance, trading, settlement, custody, and payments of digital assets.
  • Support the ongoing product validation and design, building relationships with institutions to refine and ensuring clarity of purpose for the solution across multiple asset classes
  • Support the product market fit process by understanding and championing customer requirements through the Product organisation that directly drives technology roadmaps and functional outcomes
  • Support the design and implementation of product management processes and governance that ensure accountability and transparency across the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Work closely with technology teams as we build innovative technology that support our product strategy, ensuring the delivery teams have solid understanding of functional requirements
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to advise product development
  • Work with the ecosystem team and other stakeholders to monitor and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with technology, sales, compliance and marketing teams to define and prioritise product features and functionality for digital assets

Essential experience and skills required:

  • Experience delivering customer focused propositions for financial market infrastructure organisations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially to adjust product capabilities to continue to achieve outcomes for clients while mitigating challenges associated with various risks (such as regulatory risks).
  • Flexibility to support changing requirements, circumstances, and project dynamics, including absorbing tactical modifications that ultimately support the strategic objective
  • Validated experience in a product-focused role for digital asset solutions or services in the fintech or financial services industry
  • Detailed knowledge of asset workflows and services, both traditional and digital, with knowledge of public and private markets workflows
  • Appreciation of digital assets, cryptoassets, cryptoeconomics, tokenized assets and stablecoins is advantageous
  • Appreciation of blockchain technology and its application in an operational business environment is advantageous
  • Strong intellectual capability and ability to influence key project collaborators
  • Superb interpersonal skills; able to articulate ideas to internal and external audiences across all levels of seniority
