JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant to Commercial Banking Finance Director

LOCATION(S): London, Edinburgh or Bristol

SALARY: £93,000 - £110000

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above offices

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that places you at the heart of our Commercial Banking (CB) Finance division?

We're seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to provide crucial day-to-day support for our Divisional Finance Director. As a vital member of our leadership team, you'll engage in a variety of activities across the entire team, ensuring no two days are the same.
 

Day to day you’ll be involved in;

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and Commercial Banking to compile ahoc briefing packs, ensure committee papers and actions delivered on a timely basis and respond to ad hoc queries.
  • Leading activity on behalf of the Divisional Finance Director to ensure compliance with the SMCR regime.
  • Developing and leading on all aspects of the Divisional Finance Directors team communication and engagement schedule.
  • Responsibility for the cost and FTE budget, including recruitment and aligning to OD principles.
  • Playing a key role in daily operations, acting as a trusted sounding board and source of feedback and challenge for the Divisional Finance Director.
  • Management of the Divisional Finance Director’s office and leadership team.

What you’ll need

  • Qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a Financial Accounting/Reporting related role.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with ability to identify, plan and deliver key priorities effectively.
  • Strong influencing skills to deliver through others while building trusting and collaborative relationships.
  • Comfortable providing challenge at all levels, suggesting new and innovative approaches.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas, proposals, implications at a senior level.
