Customer Service - Strategic Planning Analyst

Full Time - 12 Month FTC

Edinburgh - Hybrid

The Strategic Planning team are responsible for providing forecasts, resource requirements, staffing levels and operating costs in line with business strategy, and an opportunity to join that team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract is now available.

We Step Up - Strategic Planning Analysts ensure that accurate and timely resource plans and activities are undertaken to support the management of overall planning delivery against budget – including prioritisation of resource and support requests from the wider business.

We Tune In - Highly planned, organised, and analytical, you will be able to interpret and deliver reporting from a suite of data in a user-friendly manner to support and influence business decisions across projects or business improvements and have strong commercial and budgetary awareness.

We Are A Force For Good - You will be collaborative in your approach to work and engagement with stakeholders and strong oral and written communication skills are key to building effective relationships.  Highly planned, organised, and analytical, you will be able to interpret and deliver reporting from a suite of data in a user-friendly manner to support and influence business decisions across projects or business improvements and have strong commercial and budgetary awareness.

Experience Required:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven attention to detail

  • Experience in forecasting, resourcing & planning in front and back office environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Outstanding stakeholder management is vital

  • Proven experience in building forecasting models

  • Display future fit behaviors

  • Accurate forecasting skills via Excel

  • Recruitment planning software experience including CMS, Avaya, Workforce management systems (Verint)

How We Look After You:

  • With a pay range between £32,400 and £48,600, the salary offered depends fully on the skills and experience you bring to the role

  • A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%

  • A discretionary annual bonus, depending on personal and company performance.

  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
