ROLE PROFILE

Responsible for the overall proposition lifecycle management; including the development and management of a proposition’s growth and channel GTM strategy that identifies the path to achieving the near to medium-term (3 year) growth targets. 

This role requires a deep understanding of the relevant market, market participants and regulatory environment, as it plays a pivotal role in conducting market analysis, identifying commercial opportunities and threats.  Responsible, as part of the proposition lifecycle, for the design and execution of commercial frameworks, commercial forecasting, supporting sales execution in market, and the internal and external communication of the proposition strategy. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own the overall proposition lifecycle, developing and driving forward a comprehensive proposition growth and channel GTM strategy (Proposition Strategy) aligned with RI’s vision and mission.
  • Conduct ongoing market, client and competitor analysis, supported by strong data and Voice of the Customer analysis, to identify trends and growth opportunities in support of the Proposition Strategy.
  • Collaborate and develop relationships with key stakeholders to align and deliver on this strategy.
  • Work with RI’s Strategy team to develop and support the longer-term vision of the proposition area.
  • Build and maintain individual relationships with key clients & partners, and actively participate in market events to inform and communicate the Proposition Strategy.
  • Lead or support the creation of client focussed and market validated business cases that drive innovation and growth. 
  • Support the product investment process by assessing the commercial viability of any initiative and making an approval and prioritisation recommendation.
  • Work closely with the product and delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure a tight product market fit of a release.
  • Develop and execute channel GTM strategies with the partner, sales and account management teams to successful launch and provide feedback on releases.
  • Develop the commercial frameworks to support growth and the associated end to end process to implement.
  • Develop new and constantly refine pricing structures/models for core and growth segments of the market.
  • Provide a high level of deal and commercial support to the sales and account management teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving to address challenges and capitalise on opportunities.

  • Customer focus - Demonstrating a customer-centric approach to explore business challenges, developing tailored solutions and providing trusted advice.
  • Decision making - Takes a data led approach to assessing and solving challenges leading to the selection of ideas to reach the best outcome in the shortest amount of time.
  • Business case building - Either leads or supports the creation of client focussed and market validated business cases.  Assesses the priority and commercial viability and provides a recommendation for approval.
  • Communication - Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
  • Stakeholder management - Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiates positive outcomes.
