Transaction Reporting (MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC and HKMA)

Location - Glasgow 2/3 days a week commutable from surrounding areas – (inc Edinburgh etc)

Role Description

Capco are currently recruiting for a number Analysts to work on client site supporting the Operations team. The successful candidate will have a background and experience in transaction reporting for a tier 1 bank.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Daily submission of Mifid II, EMIR, SFTR and HKMA reports to relevant trade repositories or Authorised Reporting Mechanism
  • Responsible for producing reconciliations, exceptions management and MI for the above obligations.
  • Remediation of static data
  • Assist with any new product testing if required.
  • Pairing & Matching (analysis of DTCC reports, exception management, root cause analysis, remediation, metrics)
  • Responding to Internal and External Queries
  • Generation of Ml
  • Project Review meetings
  • Other such ad-hoc duties as required 
  • Escalation of all issues

Qualifications/ Experience:

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

  • Good Knowledge of Transaction Reporting requirements including MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and HKMA
  • Experience of UnaVista, DTCC, CMRS/Report Hub and Pirum/IHS Markit are advantages.
  • A team player who is comfortable interacting with staff at all levels,
  • A self-starter, who can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and confident to challenge and propose new ideas
  • Control minded and ability to escalate, where appropriate.
