Location:  Edinburgh or Witham (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)

Salary: A competitive salary from £46,000 - £69,000 depending on the experience you can bring

A new opportunity has arisen for a Solutions Analyst (Pega) to join our IT Digital Solutions Team. 

In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Aegon UK business to prescribe solutions to business needs. You will play a crucial role in the design , development and implementation that drive our business processes and improve our customers experiences. Your expertise in Pega will be essential in ensuring our solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with Aegon UK’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally to understand business needs and develop solutions

  • Utilising expert Pega knowledge to design high level solutions, wither autonomously or with the support of a Solutions Architect

  • Providing oversight and quality control to solutions developed by the wider team and allocating work to Analyst programmers within the team.

  • Preparing and conducting meetings, workshops and presentations for a wide variety of audiences, demonstrating consistently high qualities of communication and persuasive skills.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, utilising effective communication and influencing.

  • Excellent analysis skills - acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships.

  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities

  • Expertise in Application Development Methods, Techniques and Standards using Pega

  • Proficient in the application of automated systems

  • Relevant IT Tools Experience including Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office

  • Basic knowledge of Aegon UK products at a high level.

  • PEGA Certified Senior System Architect
