Role Description

Capco is looking for a structured, inventive and diligent person to join our UK COO team as a Resourcing Advisor.

As part of the wider Operations team, the Resourcing Advisor role is central to the success of our business and happiness of our people.  You will champion Capco Culture – you are pro action, down to earth and favour simplicity over bureaucracy.  You are not afraid to get into the detail, thriving on solving problems, big or small.  You genuinely care about the career aspirations of our colleagues and are passionate about facilitating their journey at Capco.

As an individual, communication and influence are your forte.  You will operate at the intersection between the business and internal functions and are comfortable collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.  You are empathetic and thoughtful, considering the whole picture before taking decisive action in the best interest of Capco and our people.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands on involvement in day-to-day resourcing, recommending colleagues for projects to land the best possible teams to impress our clients and meet the career aspirations of individual colleagues
  • Opining on priority of competing demands across the business in terms of where we place our talent
  • Support and manage the end to end resourcing process, ensuring this has been followed by the rest of the business
  • Work with consultants daily to understand their skillset and experience as well as career aspirations to find a suitable client project
  • Work with other resourcing team leads to understand the overall business demand and work collectively to ensure we are aligning our consultants skillsets to the correct projects
  • Collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders in the business like; recruitment, L&D and HR
  • Analyse client demand and provide direction to recruitment where we have gaps
  • Using excel to gather large data sets and consolidating into one holistic view
  • Presenting at new joiner inductions, explaining how resourcing works at Capco and actions that need to be completed following their internal induction
  • Key contact for new joiners and those returning to the bench from projects or a leave of absence so must be aware of the different process within the business to direct and manage any queries
  • Admin responsibilities as and where required

Skills & Expertise:

  • Previous Resourcing/Consulting experience ideal. We will also consider those with recruitment experience that are looking to transition their career into an internal resourcing role
  • Strong team player but also be able to work independently
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritise & be agile in your way of working, able to shift to new activities in quick fashion
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Competent with MS Excel
