Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) is leveraging state-of-the-art data & digital capabilities to deliver innovation in regulation. We utilise data science and intelligence gathering to proactively identify and intervene to prevent harm and protect consumers.
The Digital Delivery Hub is a new delivery department within the FCA dedicated to the implementation of sound User Centred Design, Agile and DevOps principles and is still in the process of forming.
This is a key role in both the development of the wider FCA digital capability and the development of the Leeds Digital Hub as an FCA centre of excellence. This role will play a key part in the development of the department, the growth of key DDAT capability and the evolution of digital delivery skills across the wider organisation.
What will you be doing?
Portfolio Delivery Management: Oversee delivery management across multiple products, acting as the senior escalation point
Team Building & Empowerment: Create, lead, and develop multidisciplinary teams to deliver effectively and communicate strongly
Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Align delivery roadmaps with business strategy and priorities, managing backlogs, service blueprints, and user stories
Technical Oversight: Ensure system architecture is flexible, loosely coupled, and performance-oriented, aligning with business needs and DevOps principles
Agile & DevOps Methodologies: Implement effective agile/lean software methodologies, emphasizing automation, CI/CD, and operational monitoring
Line Management & Collaboration: Provide line management, coaching, and performance management while working with stakeholders to deliver measurable business value
What will you get from the role?
This is a key managerial role in the development of a new Leeds Digital Delivery Hub in the FCA and in the wider goal of shaping the culture, ways of working and effectiveness of the digital delivery teams that are being recruited to form the new capability
Beyond the Leeds digital delivery hub the role will give the right candidate the opportunity to be a key member of the team shaping and implementing the future of digital delivery in the organisation as we evolve our Agile, DevOps and user centred delivery capability

Minimum
Providing delivery leadership across a range of workstreams and acting as the key point of engagement with business partners
Experience in delivering multi £M workstreams, products and services in a high visibility, complex operating environment
Experience in providing leadership, coaching and expertise in a full range of delivery skillsets, including Agile delivery methodologies, governance, DevOps and UCD practices
Essential
Agile and Lean Practices: Expert in coaching and managing Agile and Lean teams; continuously innovates and tailors ways of working while reflecting and testing teams
Commercial & Financial Management: Skilled in managing supplier contracts, negotiating budgets, and creating value in complex environments
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Expert at mediating, managing high-risk discussions, and representing communities to diverse audiences
Delivery & Life-cycle Expertise: Experienced across product life cycles, optimises team delivery flow, and unblocks complex issues and dependencies
Process & Planning: Guides organisational process improvements, ensures smooth implementation of new methods, and runs complex planning initiatives
Team Collaboration & Emotional Intelligence: Enhances team dynamics, accelerates development cycles, and ensures empathetic stakeholder and team management
