Job Description

Role Purpose

Working in the Strategic Transformation Office, providing support to programmes and projects across the Change Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that PIC Change Framework, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the Programme / Project in the management of key programme / project management activity:

Financial Management

Resource Management

RAID Management

Planning

  • Support the Programme / Project in the preparation of reporting materials to key governance committees; such as, Programme / Project Steering Committees and the Portfolio Steering Committee.
  • Effectively collaborate with Programme and Project teams, STO and other supporting functions (HR, TP&O, DPO, Finance)
  • Apply Change knowledge and insights to support STO in the continual improvement of PIC’s Change Framework, standards and processes

Requirements

Knowledge, experience, skills and abilities

 Technical

  • A strong understanding of Change Methodology and Programme and Project governance processes, to ensure these followed and to champion change within the business.
  • Good understanding of Programme and Project Methodologies; including, Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid delivery methods.
  • RAID Management.
  • Strong reporting & planning skills.
  • Experience working in a corporate or consulting environment, ideally in the insurance industry.

 Personal

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to distil information and persuade and influence both directly and indirectly.
  • Ability to organise work to meet deadlines.
