An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager, Employee Relations (ER) to join our ER COE on a permanent basis.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to our Director for Employee Relations, this role will be a key member of our Global Employee Relations (ER) COE.

Working within our supportive and inclusive People Function, you will build ER knowledge across LSEG while providing complex technical ER advice & guidance to our people leaders: ensuring an equitable and consistent colleague experience, aligned with our values and to support a sustainable high-performance environment.

In partnership with Country and Business People Partners, People Operations and other People COEs, you will use internal and external insights to identify and implement process improvements, driving simplification through inclusive, sustainable and impactful change.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Leading on collective relationships in the UK&I, with our trade union and colleague forum.
  • Delivering end to end process improvement, in partnership with relevant stakeholders and leveraging technology, in support of the transformation of our People Function.
  • Providing consistent specialist advice and guidance in line with LSEG People Policy and Processes across the full breadth of ER.
  • Taking ownership of complex employee relations casework, such as Disciplinary, Grievance or Whistleblowing complaints.
  • Supporting with Reduction in Force activity as needed.  
  • Identifying risks, ensuring timelines and cost impacts are managed.

YOU'LL BRING:

  • Significant previous ER experience, with knowledge of developing ER practice within global organisations preferred, together with a commercially focused, pragmatic approach to resolving business issues.
  • The ability to advise, coach and upskill our People Leaders as you take them through ER issues.
  • Ability to work on high-pressure topics and manage potential conflicts while maintaining a focus on effective resolution and achievement of business priorities.
  • A collaborative approach to delivering shared success, both when working within our own team and with our wider partners.
  • A growth mindset that sees challenges as opportunities, and a passion to find a resolution through partnership and influence.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
