What you’ll do
Responsible for execution of daily controls focused on remediation of breaks, identification, and root cause analysis of reporting issues, and BAU management of key deliverables for Trade reporting (MiFID II Post-Trade Transparency & Swiss Trade Reporting)
Ensure the day-to-day delivery of complete, accurate and timely reporting as defined by regulation and industry practice.
Run & monitor daily reporting controls; identify and provide transparency into reporting issues whilst working with key stakeholders across the business and technology to remediate any gaps
Conduct data analysis on large data sets to identify reporting issues and complex issues, work with technology and business stakeholders to produce root-cause analysis and create solution based JIRAs to track through to completion
Collaborative working across departments including Operations & Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and Cross-Asset Business Unit Managers to ensure delivery of transparent and aligned objectives
Act as a first point of contact to support responding to regulator enquiries, compliance assurance and internal audit
Active participation within the global team structure to contribute to the development and execution of a global book of work delivering new regulatory requirements, improved efficiency and effectiveness related to controls and insightful metrics
Drive change process by advocating for process improvements of existing processes to reduce manual touch points and increase efficacy and accuracy
Attend major industry forums; monitor publications from trade associations and regulators to help ensure Citi remains complaints with the regulations
What we’ll need from you
The ideal candidate will have previous FS experience.
High level of computer literacy; specifically related to the use of Microsoft Excel.
Exposure to SQL/VBA (advanced Excel) is an advantage
Demonstrated experience in the execution of exception management with acute attention to detail
Proficient in data mining and root cause analysis of large data sets
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
Demonstrated experience in engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery of ongoing initiatives
Ability to demonstrate effective decision-making & problem-solving skills and escalating to seniors as appropriate
Self-motivated & able to illustrate initiative when presented with a task
Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior levels of management
Ability to work under pressure, with strong time-management skills
Competent in balancing multiple deliverables with ability to assess risk of tasks for prioritization

Returner Programme
