Job Description

Role purpose

We have an exciting opportunity in our Operations Reporting team. The role provides support to PIC’s Investment team by preparing and reviewing internal reporting to Investment Team and wider audiences (various internal committees) on a monthly/quarterly basis.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of Exposure and Spread and P&L attribution and derivative valuations reporting for the Investment team daily.
  • Traded Risk monitoring i.e. DV01/PV01
  • Prepare and review Credit Trade Logs and Dealing costs for Finance.
  • Preparation of Liquidity & Collateral reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure risk metrics are monitored.
  • Provide FX trade recommendations to Market Solutions on the back of currency exposure and Liquidity analysis.
  • Running in-house pricing models for non-benchmark credit and ERM assets
  • Oversight of the NAV and any subsequent queries. Prepare and check month-end accounting reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review Equity Release Mortgages trade lifecycle events which include new/redeemed transactions and liquidity management.

Person specification

Knowledge, experience, skills and abilities (technical competencies)

Experience working in a corporate or consulting environment, the majority in banking, asset management, insurance or hedge fund.

Technical

  • Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives
  • Understanding of Duration/Spread/PV01/IE01
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA/Pivot tables). Our reporting tools are macro driven and require the technical skills to troubleshoot and build upon existing.
  • Experience in working closely with Investment teams.
  • Experience of using Aladdin (Explore) and PowrBI to create dashboards.
  • Experience of delivering change and projects
