ROLE SUMMARY:

This Director role will lead the governance of a multiyear obsolescence remediation program across our engineering teams ensuring the governance of all obsolescence remediation programs across engineering and oversee the evolution of the strategic and tactical remediation initiatives against the plan.

This role will require a strong engagement with CIOs and their direct teams, with Program Directors from the contributing programs, with Engineering 1LOD, as well as with the 2LOD Risk teams.The program is phased. Focus for the first year covers the execution of the agreed scope and in parallel, managing the definition of future scope through thorough data analysis and planning. This is a multiyear program requiring ongoing governance of the entire scope across the years.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Manage in a programmatic way the evolution of the obsolescence remediation against committed plans, by working with CIO teams, program directors and project managers in charge of the execution of the respective initiatives.
  • Oversee the data and reporting accuracy
  • Report back to senior stakeholders on program status
  • Define future scope in alignment with planning and budgeting process
  • Manage a program team consisting of project managers, business analysts and PMOs required to deliver the outcomes (5-7 people)

  • Strategy, Technology Governance, Data Analysis, Information Management, Risk management and controls.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
  • Experience leading and managing teams and stakeholders in ambiguity in highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
