Salary - Salary from £33,500 + annual bonus & benefits Location - Edinburgh/Glasgow, Permanent Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh or Glasgow office 1 days per week for this position. Closing Date - Applications close 18/03/202 at 5pm A career that works for you We’re looking for a Fraud Strategy Analyst to join our Fraud and AML Strategy team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. As we’ve recently been acquired by Barclays Bank UK Plc this is an exciting time to join and gain greater exposure to wider teams. You’ll be supporting management with data integration, sharing ideas and looking for opportunities to improve. This will give you a stronger understanding of banking risk, which will build a strong foundation for career progression. Please note that if you are offered this role your internal job title will be Fraud and AML Analyst. What you’ll be doing • Developing Application fraud strategies for the prevention of application fraud across multiple products • Maintaining rules within application fraud systems including Hunter and TMX • Development & maintenance of stakeholder relationships across Tesco Bank to support delivery of Financial Crime projects & ensure that fraud loss and/or customer impacts are minimised • Understanding complex problems that may involve various systems/departments and having the ability to identify potential solutions, while working with other departments to identify and support delivery of change We need you to have • SAS or SQL or Python programming experience • Ability to analyse and interrogate large data sets • Strong communication skills & ability to work well within a team or individually • Experience using the Microsoft suite - excel, outlook, VBA And if you have any of these, even better • Previous experience of fraud types and trends • A degree utilising numeracy and analysis or equivalent work experience We don’t expect you to tick every box, and if you feel you hit most of the brief, it’s worth exploring to further develop your career here with us.
