The role is a key position to support on UK legal entity strategy, governance and initiatives to drive UK Cluster franchise growth. The role will provide support on Citi's two material legal entities in the UK - CGML (Broker-dealer) and CBNA London Branch (Bank-chain)
Key Responsibilities:
Legal entity management and governance - Manage preparation for monthly CGML and CBNA London Branch Business and Financial Forums, including materials, actions tracking, minutes. Support in preparation of CGML Board papers.
Strategic Planning: Drive preparation and finalisation of Annual Strategic Plans for CGML and CBNA London Branch, including engagement with the businesses, functions, second line, to support governance sign off. Support in ongoing progress tracking against the plans
UK Cluster deliverables: Manage preparation of UK Cluster Performance and Path to Green deliverables
Bring value by providing insights, inputs and challenge as required.
Be a trusted advisor and partner to businesses, functions, International, UK CoSec and wider UK Cluster Office team.
Ability to work and execute independently with some guidance and managing key stakeholders and seniors
Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Additional responsibilities may include:
UK Franchise and Client: Support in driving UK franchise growth, connection with Client org/business/Finance on initiatives; client prioritisation; tracking progress on priorities; preparing for monthly UK Strategic Client Forum.
Manage ad hoc deliverables and projects as requested, like support for regulatory or senior management meetings, briefings, Group Board meetings, other UK-specific deliverables (e.g preparation of CBNA London Branch return) and wider support as required.
Qualifications/expectations:
6-10 years of experience in a financial services role
Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry. Experience in business and/or Finance will be helpful.
Demonstrates strong, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Being able to adapt to situations to address the requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Returner Programme
