Pay and Benefits Co-ordinator
Fixed Term Contract until December 2025
Location: Edinburgh (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time)
Salary: A competitive salary from £23,875 - £34,920 depending on the experience you can bring

As a Pay and Benefits Co-ordinator, you will support our payroll team with a variety of administrative tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, cyclical, and ad-hoc basis. You will work closely with the Payroll and Benefits Specialist to ensure the integrity of our employee data, streamline processes, and maintain robust operational systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of payroll administration activities. This includes the daily import of HMRC inbound files, exporting and formatting reports in Excel, inputting payroll data, and administering multiple spreadsheets. You will also handle the correction of absences, process flexible working applications, and manage the weekly integration of new starters to payroll, ensuring a seamless data feed with People Services.
Additionally, you will monitor the shared inboxes, taking ownership of requests to ensure they are correctly completed. This involves raising queries, chasing missing information, and ensuring all necessary documentation is supplied and recorded.
You will also provide administrative support to the Payroll & Benefits Manager and specialists as required, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll team.

Strong organisational and communication skills
A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in resolving customer queries
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of HCM Workday
Experience working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
High numeracy skills
