Senior DevOps Engineer

 

About the Role:  
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in crafting, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. You will apply your expertise in Python and GitLab to drive automation, streamline workflows, and enhance deployment processes. What You’ll Do:  
- Design, build, and lead cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to enable flawless automation.
- Write and optimize **Python scripts** for automation, orchestration, and infrastructure management.
- Deploy and run containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- Implement **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Enhance configuration management and deployment strategies for optimal performance.
- Monitor, solve, and optimize infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with **development, security, and operations** teams to improve workflows and security standard methodologies.
- Work with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools to support legacy systems when required.
- Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and standard processes to drive innovation.

 

What You’ll Bring: 
- Proven experience in **DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)**.
- Deep expertise in Azure and AWS cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and modern DevOps pipelines.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) and container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and integrating CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, security standard methodologies, and cloud governance.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 

Bonus Points If You Have:  
- Certifications in AWS (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) or Azure (Azure DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio..
- Knowledge of **cloud-based database administration**.
- Familiarity with additional automation tools and frameworks.
