Team/Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized AVP to join our Controls Strategy & Innovation team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on how the Controls team communicates, tracks progress and engages employees.
What you’ll do
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, building clear communication, coordinating initiatives, and bringing structure to how we work.
Internal Communications: Support team-wide communication, including drafting newsletters, preparing content for town halls, and sharing updates in engaging formats
Initiative Coordination: Help track team initiatives, maintain status updates and support delivery across projects
Human Capital Support: Assist with headcount management, location tracking and recruiting
Presentation & Visual Support: Help build senior management presentations and translate data into clear visuals in PowerPoint
Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across the organization to gather inputs, align messaging, and share updates
Employee Engagement: Lead Controls team engagement initiatives, including coordinating on-site events, overseeing team upskilling and hosting other team wide activities
What we’ll need from you
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable using PowerPoint, Excel and other data tools
Curious, adaptable and eager to learn
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to jump in and support where needed

Returner Programme
The Citi Returner Programme is a supportive hiring programme, designed to help you transition from a career break into a career within financial services.
