Senior Brand and Content Consultant
Fixed term Contract until the end of 2025

Salary: A competitive salary from £39,120 - £48,900 depending on the experience you can bring

This role supports the Head of Brand and Digital Content to deliver our brand communications, content campaigns and consultancy on initiatives and projects. The team look after brand management, content marketing and social media. You’ll manage elements of our UK brand portfolio – developing guidelines, rolling out updates and working with external agencies and internal stakeholders to improve creative quality – while adhering to compliance, governance and risk requirements.
You’ll also write and deliver content marketing activity across a range of digital channels such as web content, articles, email and social media – with a focus on maximising process efficiency and engagement effectiveness. You’ll test, measure, evaluate and track success – staying customer centric for advisers, employers and customer groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage brand content activity and projects within set timelines and budgets. This includes overseeing strategy and delivery of our email newsletters. Make sure communications comply with group risk policies, business risk controls, and regulatory requirements. Analyse campaign results, report to stakeholders, and provide optimisation recommendations for future activities.
Responsible for end-to-end content production. From initial research, briefing, writing, editing, publishing, and measurement. Monitor content metrics, conduct A/B testing, and analyse analytics data.
Support marketing teams to work within visual identity and tone of voice guidelines. Collaborate with internal and external resources, including agencies providing expert counsel and problem solving as required.
Plan our editorial content, supporting the wider brand team. Develop proposals using analytics, search demand, and customer needs in collaboration with PR, Digital Operations and Channel Comms teams. Advise the business on opportunities. Ensure timely and budgeted delivery, contributing to Marketing monthly and quarterly plans. Utilise customer insight and research to effectively target marketing communications.
Develop, maintain, and update our UK brand guidelines. Conduct annual reviews engaging key stakeholders to reflect industry trends, brand changes and new business requirements.
Serve as a brand consultant and final approver, making sure our output aligns with our brand quality standards and compliance requirements. Engage with senior stakeholders to balance commercial pressures with brand integrity, escalating issues as needed. Manage our UK logo and legal trademark processes.
Manage our social media channels and community. Manage our social media channels and communities. Seek out earned media opportunities, trends and relevant conversations. Develop and deliver content and campaigns across our full brand portfolio. Support the development and implementation of the social media strategy compliantly to safeguard our business reputation and streamline content distribution. Handle any customer contacts efficiently and empathetically.
Manage internal and external agency relationships to ensure correct use of our brand guidelines and tone of voice (TOV), including providing training and support. Oversee day-to-day management of assigned team budgets covering brand, social, content, and events. Brief and manage agency deliverables within budget and plan.

Brand management experience covering visual identity and tone of voice
Demonstratable knowledge of AI-assisted content creation and optimisation
Capability to project manage initiatives and campaigns
Digital marketing expertise, especially in content, social, analytics and SEO
Proficient copy writing and demonstratable content marketing optimisation experience across a range of channels (social, web, email)
Experience in SEO, analytics and experimentation
Content creation including image editing and light desktop publishing
