About this opportunity
Our mission is to help customers feel confident and in control of their finances, now and into the future. We’re building a new future for financial wellbeing, helping customers understand the big picture and making it easy for them to protect what matters.  Our services are accessible for everyone, no matter what their income is or how comfortable they are with financial jargon, and we work hard to make sure we’re there for customers in the moments that matter. We’re bold and we love to experiment. We’re not afraid to try out new ways of working and we encourage teams to be flexible and adaptive.

As part of our Edinburgh based team, you will lead one or more feature teams evolving our Digital Channel Servicing Lab offerings and services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate who can provide hands-on engineering leadership and expertise to a full-stack mobile app team. You will be passionate and experienced in designing and delivering scalable web/mobile applications with key focus on our API ecosystem.

What will you be doing with us?

  • Lead a feature team of API and web engineers with a focus on predictable delivery and engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with fellow leads, solution architects, UI/UX designers, and product owners to define roadmaps, technical designs and unblock delivery.
  • Lead by example by being a hands-on contributor to the codebase and providing oversight and feedback via pull requests.
  • Demonstrate leadership for microservices architecture and solution design with deep knowledge
  • Provide line-management and personal development support for engineering team members
