Team/Role Overview
This role will primarily focus on issue management and governance, including ongoing support and associated reporting, across the full lifecycle of Markets owned remediation.
The role is a hybrid role encompassing a technical reporting skillset alongside a fundamental in-depth knowledge of enterprise issue management policy/framework, control design principles and effectiveness, quality control methodology.
What you’ll do
Support effective issue management governance inclusive of activation, closure, monitoring, reporting, change management and escalation to promote timely issue resolution
Provide analytical input into issue governance forums and the Markets Issue Coordination Meetings
Interpret, credibly challenge and communicate issue management policy requirements (and associated standards/procedures) to ensure conformance
Support issue read-across assessments to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate/thematic emerging issues
Support the ‘Executive’ reporting over Scorecard and high severity/prioritized issues and track and monitor other ‘key metrics’
Partner closely with stakeholders across the 3 lines of defense to understand and converge issue/MCA mapping methodologies
Partner closely with the Markets Analytics team on issue management central reporting needs/tooling
What we’ll need from you
Understanding of Citi’s Issue management framework and data interrogation and analytical skills
Comfortable working in excel and building data queries, developing impactful reporting
Self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced analytical skills with strong critical thinking and aptitude to implement technical/regulatory requirements
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, SQL or equivalent, Word, PowerPoint) and other analytics applications a plus (e.g., Tableau Reporting Prep/Creator)
