Job Title: Resilience Analyst

Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Resilience Analyst to join our Resilience Management Office Team at Royal London. Working closely with operational leaders from across all entities within the business, the Resilience Analyst will work to support the maintenance of the Group’s Operational Resilience lifecycle. The role is central to ensuring a robust governance structure is in place for all Operational Resilience activities.
The purpose of the team is to protect the Group from external and internal threats and continually calibrates the Group’s Important Business Services (IBS) and impact tolerances accordingly. The primary objective of this function is to ensure that the Group has an adequate framework in place to oversee operational resilience and ensure that the Group can take informed decisions in respect of actions and investments to improve its resilience.
About the role:
Coordination and ownership of the Resilience timetable, ensuring all roles conduct activities in line with requirements
Ensuring that all artefacts and documentation are in place and retained appropriately
Ensuring that governance packs and documentation is produced and retained in line with expectation
Providing guidance to stakeholders required to utilise tools and templates provided by the Resilience Management Office
Working closely with the Resilience Testing Lead monitor findings relating to Operational Resilience following scenario exercises
Ownership of the day-to-day management and tracking of Operational Resilience vulnerabilities, ensuring evidence is in place and that updates are provide to the relevant governance groups and committees
Responsible for undertaking analysis of the evidence provided by the Pillar owners, to support individual metrics, to ensure metrics are robust and accurate records are maintained
Supporting on attendance at third party site visits, both virtual and physical, and the creation of subsequent site visit reports
About you:
A detailed understanding of the regulatory priorities
Knowledge of the financial services industry, how our business operates and the legislative/regulatory framework
Understanding of service resilience design and execution
Basic understanding of Business Continuity Planning and IT Disaster Recovery
Experience of dealing with process / organisational change
Experience of working in enterprise-scale organisations in financial services or similarly regulated industry
A passion for designing resilience into everything we do
Strong senior stakeholder management skills
Ability to communicate at an executive level and produce reports suitable for consumption at an executive level
Excellent communication skills with an ability to significantly influence senior and executive business leaders.
