Salary - National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £72,100 to £105,000 and London from £79,300 to £115,000 per annum (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

What will you be doing?
The Product Owner role sits within the Product Group and is responsible for the supply of all changes to a complex product within the product group including software development services, infrastructure changes, service changes and technical debt for the platform and system in the scope of the role. You will be a key point of contact for stakeholders across the organisation to:
Drive change and operational excellence for a complex product through development, maintenance and collaboration with operations partners
Estimate resource, cost and time requirements to support project planning and prioritisation
Deliver technical and service solutions aligned with agile and DevSecOps practices while ensuring governance compliance
Manage the product budget and accurately recharge costs to sponsoring divisions
Set, track and optimise performance against key performance indicators
Refine stakeholder requirements and translate them into actionable insights for development teams

Minimum
Experience in leading teams and external partners, overseeing complex products across IT change and operations
Experience in service management, incident resolution and problem-solving for diverse business environments
Experience planning resources and technology capacity to support both change initiatives and ongoing operations
Essential
Skilled in managing software application and infrastructure life cycles, including development and change processes
Experienced in agile development methodologies and their practical applications
Strong commercial awareness, assessing supplier proposals and driving cost-effective solutions
Desirable
Shape technical strategy, driving architecture, platform development and industry best practices while fostering innovation
Influence enterprise-wide decision-making, negotiating impactful trade-offs and aligning strategy at the executive level
Lead with vision, empowering teams, solving complex problems and driving continuous improvement in product management and innovation
