About Citi: Join Citi, a global financial institution dedicated to serving as a trusted partner to clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress. We offer world-class financial products and services across a broad range of asset classes, currencies, sectors, and products, including equities, commodities, credit, futures, foreign exchange (FX), emerging markets, G10 rates, municipals, prime finance, and securitized markets. Our Markets Operations group provides strategic advisory and financing products to a diverse global client base.
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Markets Operations team as an Analyst, supporting our Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD), OTC Clearing, and FX Prime Brokerage businesses. This role will primarily focus on the meticulous tracking and resolution of exchange fees for Exchange Traded products (Listed Futures - ETD) across North America, EMEA, and APAC markets where Citi holds memberships.
The successful candidate will report to the EMEA ETD Exchange Fee Reconciliations manager and collaborate closely with peer colleagues in Tampa, Belfast, and London to address break tracking and remediation. This is an individual contributor role with significant autonomy in investigation, trend identification, and resolution. The role also offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and roll-out of a significant upcoming systems upgrade.
What You'll Do:
Perform daily reconciliation of ETD cash types, with a primary emphasis on Exchange Fees.
Investigate and resolve break discrepancies, working proactively to prevent future re-occurrence through collaboration with internal teams including Client Services, Technology, and internal remediation partners.
Communicate required adjustments clearly and concisely to client service representatives and internal counterparts.
Identify and implement opportunities for control enhancements and process simplification, taking ownership of initiatives from inception to completion.
Actively participate in team project initiatives and assist with Business As Usual (BAU) end-to-end testing.
Prepare clear, concise, and audience-appropriate status updates for key stakeholders.
Ensure strict adherence to all control, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to the function.
Generate exception reports and escalate critical issues to Senior Management in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in reconciliations is essential, ideally within a Tier 1 bank or competitor.
Experience within Markets Operations is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of Futures (ETD) Clearing and/or ETD products would be an advantage.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information effectively across functional areas and global teams.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment, possessing strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
A naturally curious and energetic individual with a strong desire for continuous learning and a proactive approach to process improvements and team initiatives.
Highly logical, analytical, and rational thinker.
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Citi works tirelessly to provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products. We strive to create the best outcomes for our clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative and responsible.
"We consistently assess Citi’s role in response to three questions: What are we doing to help create inclusive and resilient communities? How can we use our voice to help drive dialogue toward solutions? Is Citi walking the talk — are we doing the right things within our own firm? The short answer to all three of these questions continues to be the same: that we can and should do more."
