Are you looking for your next step within Royal London where you can broaden your experience, work more closely with IFAs, and play a key role in supporting our growth?

We’re looking for friendly, customer-focused colleagues to join our team as Protection Agency Consultants. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, including Independent Financial Advisors and our Royal London Sales teams, giving you real exposure to how we grow and strengthen our protection business.

About the role

In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of managing agency relationships, acting as a trusted first point of contact for our advisors. You’ll build strong, lasting partnerships, resolving queries from start to finish and keeping advisors informed every step of the way. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be key in delivering a high-quality service that supports both advisor success and Royal London’s continued growth.

This role offers a great pathway for colleagues interested in developing their career within sales and deepening their understanding of how we support and grow our adviser network.

  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the teams’ measures and support how these are used to understand the customer journey.
  • Undertake project and ad hoc tasks where required.
  • Own all requests/enquiries from end to end, minimising hand-offs and delivering a personal service and leading others through experience.
  • Constantly seek additional knowledge to help you provide support to advisers and colleagues, anticipating their needs and finding solutions to any challenges that arise.  Share knowledge of the above with peers.

About you

  • We aspire to provide industry leading levels of customer service, motivating our advisors to not only give us positive feedback, but recommend the service we provide. To help us achieve this you will need high levels of commitment, strong customer empathy and a desire to help all customers, no matter how challenging the request.
  • You will be the face or voice of our brand and a very high level of professionalism is expected at all times. Excellent verbal and numeracy skills are essential, as is being able to communicate in a confident, professional and sincere manner.
  • Having worked in a servicing, admin role or worked directly with advisors would be an advantage.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple queries and processes simultaneously.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
