Are you passionate about delivering strategic digital change and proving the value it creates?

We’re looking for a Digital Product Owner to join our Chief Digital Office, focused on delivering our digital strategy and establishing clear, measurable benefits across a major investment programme.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping, prioritising and delivering digital capabilities, ensuring that investment translates into tangible outcomes such as growth, reduced cost to serve and improved customer and adviser experiences.

More About the role:

Own Strategic Digital Delivery - Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for digital strategy initiatives, translating strategic priorities into clear, outcome-led product increments that deliver measurable value.

Lead Benefits & Value Realisation - Define and implement benefits frameworks, KPIs and success measures to track value delivery across digital initiatives, ensuring clear linkage between investment and outcomes.

Insight-Driven Performance - Use data and operational insight to measure performance, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement and optimisation.

Collaborative Delivery - Work closely with engineering, architecture, data and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically robust, secure and aligned to strategic objectives.

Governance & Strategic Alignment - Ensure all delivery aligns with governance, risk, data protection and security standards, while providing high-quality artefacts to support investment and governance forums.

Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, risks and value delivered in a way that supports decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in digital or technology-led environments
  • Experience defining and delivering measurable outcomes and benefits, not just outputs
  • Strong understanding of modern digital architecture, APIs, integrations and cloud-based services
  • Experience working within Agile/Lean delivery models
  • High data literacy and ability to use insight to inform decisions and track performance
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services, insurance or pensions preferred)
  • Experience working with analytics, reporting or benefits tracking framework

Personal Attributes:

  • Analytical and structured, able to break down complex problems into actionable work
  • Commercially aware, balancing value, cost and risk
  • Technically credible, confident engaging with engineers and architects
  • Collaborative and influential, building trust across disciplines
  • Outcome-focused, prioritising measurable impact and value delivery

Why Join Us?

  • Be at the forefront of delivering a major digital transformation strategy
  • Shape how digital investment translates into real, measurable business value
  • Work in a collaborative, innovative and forward-thinking environment
  • Gain exposure to strategic decision-making and senior stakeholders
  • Make a real impact on how digital drives customer, adviser and business outcome
