Project Manager – Wealth & Asset Management

Job Description

Project Manager – Wealth & Asset Management

Location: London | Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management | Type: Permanent

Lead complex wealth platform transformations and help shape the future of advisory and servicing models.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) transformation programmes, with a particular focus on platform and post-integration delivery.

This role will play a key part in overseeing end-to-end delivery across platform implementation, post-merger integration, and advisory or servicing transformation initiatives. You will work closely with client stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners to ensure successful integration of wealth platforms and operational models in complex environments.

As AI continues to reshape financial services, you'll be expected to embrace AI-enabled ways of working, using approved AI and automation tools to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, improve delivery quality and support better client outcomes, while always applying human judgement and responsible AI practices. You'll also help clients identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into programme delivery and future operating models where appropriate, supporting innovation while maintaining robust governance and oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the delivery of wealth platform transformation initiatives, including post-merger technology and operations integration, using approved AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve delivery efficiency and programme oversight.
  • Oversee platform implementations (e.g. Avaloq, Temenos, Aladdin), ensuring alignment to business and regulatory requirements while leveraging AI-supported insights to enhance planning and decision-making.
  • Manage RAID processes, governance forums and stakeholder engagement across advisory and servicing transformation programmes, embedding responsible AI-enabled ways of working where they deliver measurable value.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations and front-office stakeholders, using AI to streamline collaboration, reporting and delivery activities while maintaining appropriate human review.
  • Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines and quality standards across Agile or hybrid environments, identifying opportunities for AI-enabled automation and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience delivering transformation programmes within Wealth & Asset Management.
  • Experience overseeing platform implementation or post-integration delivery within wealth management environments.
  • Strong understanding of advisory, servicing and mass affluent client models.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience across business and technology teams.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks, with a mindset of continuous learning and curiosity for adopting AI-enabled ways of working to improve productivity, quality and client outcomes while applying responsible AI principles.

Bonus Points For

  • Direct experience with Avaloq, Temenos, Aladdin or comparable wealth platforms.
  • Experience supporting post-merger integration or large-scale operating model transformation.
  • Exposure to FCA regulatory requirements within wealth management.
  • Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
  • Experience supporting AI transformation initiatives or embedding AI capabilities (including Generative AI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation) into programme delivery within financial services.
