We're growing our digital capability and are looking for Digital Managers to help drive the next phase of Royal London's digital transformation.
Joining our Chief Digital Office, you'll have the opportunity to own and evolve key digital journeys, platforms and services that support millions of customers, advisers and colleagues. Working at the heart of large-scale digital change, you'll shape roadmaps, influence priorities and lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, data-driven experiences that make a real difference.
You'll collaborate with experts across Digital, Technology, Operations, Proposition, Marketing and Risk, using customer insight, analytics and market trends to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful improvements.
Whether it's enhancing existing digital services, launching new capabilities or improving customer and adviser outcomes, you'll play a key role in turning strategy into measurable results.

About the role
Own and evolve a digital journey, platform or service, defining the roadmap and priorities to deliver measurable customer, adviser and business outcomes.
Lead cross-functional squads, providing direction, managing priorities and balancing delivery pace with risk and control requirements.
Use customer insight, analytics and market intelligence to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with Digital, Operations, Proposition, Marketing and Risk teams to deliver joined-up, high-quality digital experiences.
Monitor and measure the impact of change, ensuring benefits are realised and outcomes are tracked.
Manage risks, dependencies and governance requirements, ensuring delivery meets regulatory, security and architectural standards.
Coach and influence colleagues, fostering collaboration, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
About you
Proven experience leading digital products, customer journeys or platforms, with accountability for outcomes, roadmaps and priorities.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across business and technology teams.
Experience using data, analytics and customer insight to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management and working within cross-functional squads.
Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, risk and regulatory requirements when making decisions.
Confident communicator, able to simplify complex topics and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Experience within Financial Services or another regulated environment is essential.

Payments
Card payments, Open Banking and customer payment journeys.
Improving payment outcomes, persistency and customer experience.
Payments regulation and controls within Financial Services.
AI & Digital Platforms
Delivering AI-enabled products or digital capabilities.
Working with Azure-based solutions and cloud technologies.
Bringing innovative technologies into regulated environments while balancing customer, risk and regulatory considerations.
