Salary: A competitive salary from £54,480 - £87,720 depending on the experience you can bring

We're looking for a Programme Communications Consultant to lead colleague communications for a large transformation programme in Aegon UK. This is a fixed-term role to support the delivery of a specific project.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the communications approach for a programme that will impact colleagues across the business. Working with senior leaders, programme teams and stakeholders across different business areas, you'll help ensure colleagues understand what’s changing, what it means for them and what they need to do.
You'll act as the central coordination point for programme communications, bringing together activity from multiple workstreams and turning complex programme information into clear, engaging and actionable communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and managing the overall Programme communications plan.
Coordinating communications across multiple programme workstreams.
Creating colleague, manager and leadership communications.
Managing approvals and governance across a range of stakeholders.
Ensuring communications are timely, consistent and colleague focused.
Supporting key programme milestones.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Significant experience in internal communications, change communications or programme communications.
Proven experience supporting large-scale organisational change or transformation programmes.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and project teams.
Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
Experience developing communication strategies and integrated communication plans.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities and competing stakeholder demands.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Experience in creating communication toolkits, FAQs, manager resources and leadership briefings.
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
What’s in it for you?
We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
