Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in AI, business architecture, and process governance to Citi's Services organization.
By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.
Team/Role Overview
As Citi accelerates its AI-First transformation, we are seeking a leader for a high-impact function at the intersection of the AI-First Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), Process Excellence, and Business Architecture. This is not a traditional process management role, but a strategic leadership position responsible for bridging the emerging world of AI-augmented product delivery with the rigor of enterprise governance, capability modelling, and operational transformation on a global scale. This leader will define the frameworks and standards that ensure AI-enabled capabilities are developed responsibly, aligned to business strategy, and embedded into a culture of continuous improvement. You will work at the most senior levels of the organization—influencing investment decisions, rationalizing capability duplication, and ensuring that Citi's product and process landscape is audit-ready, future-proof, and intelligently designed.
What you'll do
Own and Evolve the AI-First Product Development Lifecycle: Maintain a consolidated, AI-augmented view of capabilities across lines of business, driving rationalization and ensuring the PDLC framework reflects the latest AI-First standards.
Oversee End-to-End Process Documentation & Mapping: Lead the documentation of Services processes within Citi's enterprise process mapping framework, leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate documentation and surface insights.
Conduct AI-Enhanced LEAN Assessments: Design and execute structured LEAN-based assessments of key operational processes, translating findings into actionable improvement roadmaps.
Define Process Governance Models & Performance Standards: Establish ownership frameworks, performance measurement standards (KPIs/OKRs), and governance models that build a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate Across Technology, Risk, Compliance & Investment Teams: Act as the connective tissue between key functions to ensure that AI-enabled processes, capabilities, and architecture decisions are aligned, controlled, and audit-ready.
Engage Senior Stakeholders Across Businesses & Regions: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and lead organizational model reviews.
Build & Develop a High-Performing Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business architects and process specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and AI-First thinking.
What we'll need from you
Financial Services Leadership: Extensive experience in financial services with demonstrated leadership across complex, cross-functional, and global environments.
AI-First Mindset: A genuine understanding of how AI and machine learning are reshaping product development, with hands-on experience in AI governance or intelligent automation.
Enterprise Architecture Fluency: Experience with capability modelling, business architecture frameworks, and process documentation tools.
Executive Communication & Influence: Clear, concise, and compelling communicator with a proven ability to engage and influence C-suite and Managing Director-level stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development: A proven track record of building, managing, and developing high-performing teams across diverse skill sets and geographies.
Operational Resilience: Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments while maintaining quality and strategic focus.
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Preferred Expertise: A background in regulatory compliance, audit support, model risk management, or LEAN methodologies is highly advantageous.

Citi works tirelessly to provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products. We strive to create the best outcomes for our clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative and responsible.
"We consistently assess Citi’s role in response to three questions: What are we doing to help create inclusive and resilient communities? How can we use our voice to help drive dialogue toward solutions? Is Citi walking the talk — are we doing the right things within our own firm? The short answer to all three of these questions continues to be the same: that we can and should do more."
