JOB TITLE: Senior Finance Business Partner – Intermediary Wealth

SALARY: As per range

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh Princes Exchange

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll lead a dedicated team supporting our Intermediary Wealth business, helping shape the commercial success of our business. Joining at a pivotal point in our transformation journey, you'll work at the heart of growth, change and innovation—partnering with senior leaders and Executives to turn insight into action, influence strategic decisions and drive sustainable business performance. From supporting the evolution of our Intermediary Wealth proposition to delivering impactful projects and initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible difference while being part of a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing finance team that's passionate about developing future skills, embracing new ideas!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading Intermediary Wealth business partnering team.

  • Development of financial forecasts.

  • Collaborate across platforms to ensure accountability & interlock.

  • Assessment of operating model and unit costs.

  • Communication of financial and key management results.

  • Drive commercial value from key projects and partnerships.

  • Identification and management of financial risks & opportunities.

  • Continued development of the business cases and tracking of benefits.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified accountant or actuary.

  • 5 plus years driving commercial results from deep financial experience and understanding of core financial principles.

  • 5 plus years gaining strong business partnering capability, with the ability to work constructively with a range of colleagues across divisions and teams.

  • 5 plus years leadership experience demonstrating the ability to prioritise work, provide direction, and support team members in a small team environment.

  • Proven ability to engage in constructive challenge, both with and from the Business, to support robust decision‑making.

  • Proven expertise in data analytics, visualisation and storytelling. Capable of helping us build new sets of insightful MI, that connects into a digital operation, inspiring action.
