This is a pivotal individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and operations — contributing directly to the planning, development, and execution of the Middle Office product roadmap across operating models, platform redesign, data management, and evolving client needs. If you are a product professional who thrives on translating complex business challenges into scalable, client-focused solutions, this role offers the scope and seniority to make a measurable difference at a global financial institution.
Lead strategic product development and transformation initiatives across the Funds Middle Office Business, ensuring each program aligns with overall business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes.
Coordinate complex, cross-functional programs spanning product, technology, and operations teams, driving seamless execution and successful delivery of key Middle Office initiatives.
Translate high-level business strategy into actionable product development plans, establishing clear accountability across teams and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to delivery.
Champion Agile ways of working across Middle Office squads and release trains, mentoring Product Owners and ensuring Program Increments are planned and executed in line with Citi's Agile strategy.
Bridge the gap between business requirements, product vision, and technical implementation to develop scalable solutions — including the deployment of AI frameworks — that accelerate time to market and improve operational efficiency.
Develop data capabilities for the business, including quality control frameworks and close-to-real-time data offerings that serve clients, internal stakeholders, and the broader business line.
Engage senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional partners to gather requirements, communicate roadmap progress, and align stakeholders on product vision and transformation direction.
Identify and pursue value-creation opportunities beyond immediate project scope, contributing to product innovation roadmaps, external partner collaboration, and ongoing market and competitor analysis.
Significant experience in product management, business analysis, or technology transformation within financial services, with a focus on data-intensive environments.
Solid knowledge of Middle Office services and investment operations, including trade management, settlement servicing, performance measurement services, post trade compliance and end client reporting.
Demonstrated experience delivering data integration strategies and client-facing solutions that meet complex operational requirements.
Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning automation projects, applied to process improvement or new product feature development.
Understanding of Book of Record management, including Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) oversight.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure, adapting quickly to changing requirements and driving initiatives forward autonomously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a collaborative approach to working across operations, technology, compliance, legal, risk, and finance teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and their role within investment operations workflows.
Exposure to digital assets, distributed ledger technology (DLT)-based trading strategies, or cryptocurrency fund administration.

We strive to create the best outcomes for our clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative and responsible.
"We consistently assess Citi’s role in response to three questions: What are we doing to help create inclusive and resilient communities? How can we use our voice to help drive dialogue toward solutions? Is Citi walking the talk — are we doing the right things within our own firm? The short answer to all three of these questions continues to be the same: that we can and should do more."
