Citi is hiring a Director within Digital Assets Client Solutions to lead the commercialization and strategic delivery of institutional digital asset and collateral management capabilities across the Investor Division. Sitting at the convergence of traditional capital markets and next-generation blockchain infrastructure, this role partners directly with some of the world's most sophisticated financial institutions to redefine how collateral, liquidity, and digital assets move across global markets. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape Citi's "One Platform" and "One Wallet" strategy from the front line of client solutions and product delivery.
Lead the design, commercialization, and client implementation of digital asset solutions — including crypto custody, tokenized cash, tokenized assets, and digital collateral management — for institutional investors across global markets.
Define and execute client strategies focused on collateral mobility, collateral optimization, liquidity management, and capital efficiency across both traditional and digital asset ecosystems.
Own the Digital Assets Client Solutions product roadmap, incorporating market intelligence, client feedback, technology trends, and competitive analysis to drive continuous product innovation.
Manage and develop a team of product managers, setting clear priorities, removing delivery obstacles, and maintaining accountability for outcomes across the full product life cycle.
Serve as the primary client authority on traditional collateral market structures — including Prime Brokerage, Repo, Securities Lending, OTC Derivatives, Margin Management, and Triparty Collateral — and translate this expertise into digital product propositions that generate measurable client value.
Lead strategic client engagements, advising on the operational, regulatory, and risk considerations of adopting digital asset and tokenized collateral solutions at institutional scale.
Collaborate across Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Markets, Securities Services, and Sales to deliver integrated solutions that meet the needs of institutional clients.
Represent Citi externally at client meetings, industry forums, and with regulators, custodians, clearing houses, and market infrastructure providers to reinforce Citi's leadership in the digital asset space.
10+ years of experience within institutional financial services, with direct exposure to markets, securities services, collateral management, or digital assets.
Deep expertise in collateral management frameworks across Prime Brokerage, Repo, Securities Lending, OTC Derivatives, Margin Services, and Clearing.
Established track record leading client solutions, product strategy, and full product life cycle delivery in a senior capacity within institutional finance.
8+ years of people management experience, including performance management, team development, and cross-functional leadership across complex organisations.
Proficiency with AI tools and applications applied to client solutions, sales enablement, market analysis, or strategic decision-making.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior executives, institutional clients, and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
Direct experience with digital asset collateral management, tokenized collateral, digital custody, or tokenization initiatives within an institutional context.
Familiarity with blockchain technology, on-chain settlement models, and emerging digital market infrastructure relevant to institutional finance.
Experience engaging directly with regulators, exchanges, custodians, or clearing organizations in the context of digital asset or collateral product development.
Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
This role places you at the center of one of the most consequential transformations in institutional finance — where traditional capital markets meet the emerging infrastructure of digital assets. You will lead with real ownership, partner with global institutions, and directly influence how Citi defines the next generation of collateral and digital asset client solutions.
Strategic leadership visibility, with direct influence over Citi's institutional Digital Assets Client Solutions direction across global markets.
A high-impact mandate working alongside some of the world's largest asset managers, hedge funds, banks, and market infrastructure providers.
Exposure to cutting-edge digital asset technology, including tokenization, on-chain collateral models, and AI-powered client and product tools.
Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, providing flexibility alongside meaningful in-person collaboration.
A performance-driven environment that rewards commercial outcomes, innovative thinking, and client impact at scale.
Access to Citi's global network, learning resources, and professional development opportunities to continue advancing your expertise in digital markets.
Comprehensive financial wellbeing, health, and family support benefits as part of Citi's broader employee offering.

We strive to create the best outcomes for our clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative and responsible.
"We consistently assess Citi’s role in response to three questions: What are we doing to help create inclusive and resilient communities? How can we use our voice to help drive dialogue toward solutions? Is Citi walking the talk — are we doing the right things within our own firm? The short answer to all three of these questions continues to be the same: that we can and should do more."
