Job Overview
The Loan IQ IT Solutions Architecture Group Manager is responsible for the direct management of technology solutions delivered by Wholesale Lending Technology within the Product Technology Chief Information Office. The individual will partner with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Banking, Markets and Risk) to drive end-to-end delivery on Loan IQ & several in-house technology tools built around loan IQ that fully supports, satisfies and anticipates the reporting needs of the business and our regulators. This role leads and directs a team of professionals responsible for Loan IQ design and functionality for EMEA/APAC businesses and Global Loan IQ interfaces (including payments).
This role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of multiple systems, theories and practices related to Loan IQ and Lending functions. Role owns Loan IQ data, design and design artifacts. Will Oversee implementation of data driven technical solutions to meet business need. Responsible for ensuring that solutions align with Loan IQ Architecture strategy, while balancing success criteria, interface impacts, system performance, controls, scalability, and cost.
Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations and budget approval.
What you'll do
Manage team of 10+ Loan IQ solution architecture and business analysts. Oversee the design and implementation of strategic system capabilities and information architecture framework that will focus primarily on improving the availability, accessibility, quality, and reliability of data used across silo functions at Citi.
Lead architecture design and information architecture principles framework for Loan IQ and its ancillary applications.
Define high level business architecture that accelerates solution designs, improves quality of applications, drives data quality and interoperability, and ensures maximum utilizations of shared assets and services.
Delivery of business requirements, in partnership with Product Owner Team, to ensure that business/use case, system configuration and other global impacts are fully defined.
Work closely with key business and technology partners to support business enablement and conversions.
Work with an executive team: high level communication skills, influence management, and strong presentation ability.
What we’ll need from you
Loan IQ analysis and implementations experience in a leadership role, with deep domain knowledge of Loan IQ and its data model, database schema, APIs, and SDK capabilities.
Banking, Financial Services experience
Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with diverse teams
Ability to lead projects with multiple counterparts across organizations
Previous experience with AI tools utilization and agile delivery (Jira, Confluence)
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Robust problem-solving skills
Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence others. Deliver clear and concise presentations of complex information to senior leaders. Ability to lead and direct a team of professionals with specialized expertise.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree/MBA
