Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including MiFID II/MiFIR, FCA Conduct Rules, market abuse regulations, and internal risk frameworks, maintaining robust controls over algorithmic trading systems
Mentor and develop junior traders and sales professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the Electronic Execution team
What We Need from You

Deep expertise in equity market microstructure, algorithmic trading strategies (VWAP, TWAP, implementation shortfall, arrival price, POV), smart order routing, dark pool liquidity, and regulatory frameworks governing electronic execution in European markets
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience working with execution management systems (EMS), order management systems (OMS), and market data platforms
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships across institutional investor segments, with exceptional communication skills to articulate complex trading strategies and market insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Comprehensive understanding of FCA/PRA regulatory requirements, MiFID II/MiFIR transparency obligations, best execution principles, and trade reporting standards applicable to electronic equities trading

We strive to create the best outcomes for our clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative and responsible.
"We consistently assess Citi’s role in response to three questions: What are we doing to help create inclusive and resilient communities? How can we use our voice to help drive dialogue toward solutions? Is Citi walking the talk — are we doing the right things within our own firm? The short answer to all three of these questions continues to be the same: that we can and should do more."
