Markets Operations Belfast Overview: Our Operations groups are fundamental to the success of the Markets business. We provide critical support to a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and HR. We also engage significantly with external clients, playing a crucial role in delivering an exceptional client experience. Role / Position Overview: This is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) position within the Issuance Settlements team, responsible for both Fixed Income and Equity products across multiple markets within EMEA and DTC.
This is an excellent opportunity to help develop and grow a high-performing and energized team that directly interacts with global clients, exchanges, and central securities depositories (CSDs). You will support our banking and trading desks across Europe, Asia, and the United States in various bespoke roles.
The team is responsible for monitoring asset creation, issuer payments, and the timely settlement of actual issuances, covering various types of Equity (EQ) and Fixed Income (FI) products, including but not limited to IPOs, Block Deals, and FI new issues. This is a high-profile global team with exposure to large-value and, at times, high-volume trades. The role involves daily engagement with clients, legal, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
